Course Description
This course will serve as an introduction to the practice of mindfulness and stress
management.  This class will be dedicated to understanding the basic concepts
of simple yoga, meditation, and mindful stress management practices.  Attention
will also be given to easy at home mindful health approaches.

Course Prerequisites
Open mind and willingness to participate

Course Objectives
1. Understand the basics of mindfulness
2. Understand the mind-body connection
3. Learn the major concepts of stress reduction
4. Feel comfortable practicing simple at-home yoga positions
5. Be confident performing at-home meditation for stress reduction
6. Understand what triggers anxiety, depression, and insomnia

Required Materials
 Wear comfortable clothes
 Yoga mat
 Sweat cloth
 Water bottle
