Home Within Home

The bedroom, the place where I became me and where I am still building myself.

Everyone has one, but not everyone uses it the same. Some see it as just another room, but I see

it as a lot more than that. The bedroom is sacred to me and I value it to a high level.It is your

place, your kingdom, a place where you can be anything you please. A little girls palace, a

married couples throne. Your bed room is yours and no one can take it from you. It is the place

where we grow and think our deepest thoughts. The good , the bad,the highs and the lows,it

knows all. It knows us the best, more than anyone else. Your bedroom knows secrets that others

do not know. When you close that door it’s just you and your room.Its like the walls listen and

your thoughts are them speaking back.

For me it means a lot. I used to not appreciate it and as a kid I used to hate staying in my

room.There was always no fun in there, too quiet and just boring. I felt lonely, I needed to be

around people and hear voices.As I've grown older I've come to appreciate it. The quietness and

isolation is what I’ve come to love.I honestly don't like leaving my room, I love it there, it is the

place that brings me the most peace and the place where I rehabilitate my mind. It’s like an

ultimate meditation room, if you use it correctly.I always wanted to be outside with friends or

just be up and about. Now I’ve become more to myself and much quieter.Without my room I feel

I’d be lost, beveled that is where I find myself when I’m in trouble.Your bedroom describes you,

so I have a very good amount of sports related things, like jersey’s, magazines, signed balls,

posters and pictures.It's my domain with my personal items and secrets .The items in my room

vary from tons of shoes to medals and clothes. My items are what make me, me. I hold my

belongings dearly, because some day I’ll look back and remember that these things shaped me.

This summer I threw out a lot of stuff so most of the things you'll see in my room mean a lot to

me.My closet is very tight,sunless and narrow. Not much, but I love it,lIt has most of my clothes,

I believe a person's wardrobe tells alot about them. Lively colors show that they are outgoing and

dark colors show that they may be an introvert and typically I wear dark clothes and would

consider myself an introvert.Id say I’m an introvert, because I don’t talk alot and usually stay to

myself. That’s probably why I love the loneliness of my room.In my room,I have big brown

furnished dressers with gold handles.A bright blue carpet, with paint stains from when I used to

paint my shoes. The “Kings seat” , even though it's a queen size bed. In the middle of my room,

it is where I rest and meditate. It’s where I come to after a long day, it’s always waiting for me

and will never deny me. Cold, dark and crowded, but welcoming is how I'd describe my room.

Very chilly, I love it cold. It's what makes me sleep better at night.

The smell of cologne and febreeze and an autumn scented candle. Is the aroma that

surrounds my room. Tons of blankets, red, blue and navy with as many pillows as clouds in the

sky. The vibe of an athlete that loves music and loves his own personal space. An environment

ment for one person, and a feel of lots of belongings that keep me company. So evenventhoug

my room is very isolated, it brings me comfort, I feel like it's just the perfect room for me. It is,

it's the place that I appreciate most in life, and when I go down to Limcom it will be there with

me.
