Pedophile Case of Eric Toth

Eric Justin Toth was a former Washington primary school teacher who became one of the FBI's
most-wanted criminals. The 32 years-old former teacher is a Pedophile. For 3 years, Toth taught
at Washington DC’s Beauvior The National Cathedral Elementary School.

Toth grew up in a middle-class western family. At the age of ten or eleven, he realized that he
was attracted to young boys and he could never tell anyone. Toth said that as a pedophile he has
a dark inner secret that he has to deal with and unfortunately his efforts in dealing with it is not
effective.

In June 2008, the court records and interviews revealed that Toth’s fellow teacher discovered a
school owned digital camera with sexually explicit photographs and videos of children that was
quickly traced to Toth. Eric Toth’s had 17 victims and most of them were all boys that he loved
to obsession. The court records further indicate that Toth had installed hidden cameras inside air
fresheners that he placed in school bathrooms.

After the pornographic images discovered at Beauvoir, Toth was immediately escorted off the
school and soon began a life in a run. FBI’s showed Toth itinerary. Toth Travelled from
Washington to Indiana where he grew up. After his stay he travelled to Chicago, Madison
Wisconsin, and Minneapolis were he leaved his car in the airport leaving a suicide note and flash
drive that contains child pornography. From there he took a bus to Billings Montana where he
lived for a month. In July 2008, he travelled to Wyoming and then moved back to Montana. He
went to Phoenix and lived in a homeless shelter. When someone recognized him, he headed to
Dallas and worked there for 3 year in a computer industry. Toth eluded law enforcement officials
by assuming fake identities and escaping to Nicaragua. Toth was turned in by an American who
recognized him in Nicaragua. In April 2013, the game has ended for Eric Toth and has been
sentenced 25 years in Federal Prison in Petersburg, Virginia. But he’s long been a prisoner of a
mental disorder he says he can’t control. When Eric Toth released he faces a lifetime of
supervision in he is barred from any contact with children.
