Black History Month Background Decorating

 Decorate your background to celebrate Black History Month and Black Lives Matter at
School Week!!
 Criteria:
o There really isn’t any! Any representation of what Black History Month means to
you or something that celebrates you or your family’s heritage.
o Be creative!
 Some examples (but don’t limit yourself only to these):
o Character from a movie or book that you aspire to be
o Historical figure you look up to
o Impactful quote you have read/live by
o Piece of art that means something to you
o Digital art piece or physical art piece you make inspired by Black History Month
 Due Monday, February 8th
o Include in your submission to Schoology a 1-2 paragraph explanation of what
your background means to you/why you choose it.
o Completion of this will get you a Free Assignment Pass
o You will have a chance to share with the class if you would like for bonus points!
