I have told you a quote from Henry

says, “the Lord is more interested in timing
than in time.” One thing I know to be true is
that His timing is impeccable. As sure as I
knew the Lord was calling me to Belvedere, I
am sure that my retirement is His timing, and
I have His peace. That doesn’t mean that we
won’t miss you, but it does mean that He has
a plan of continued ministry, not just for us

overwhelming and we thank the Lord for you!
Most of all, I want to thank you for allowing
me to be your pastor for the last 24 years. As
George C. Scott stated in the movie “Patton,”
as he portrayed the ornery general, “I know I
have many faults, but ingratitude is not one of
them.” You accepted me faults and all. When
I did well, you encouraged me. When I led
