o The ABAP can be executed by the transaction codes that are entered in the
command field of SAP GUI.
o Nowadays, it is used along with the JAVA for programming the SAP
NetWeaver Application Server. The application server is a part of the
NetWeaver Platform and used for developing various SAP applications.
