SUBJECT: CONTRACTOR’S SUBMISSION OF MANUFACTURER CERTIFICATE AND
PENGRADE 60/70 BITUMENT TEST REPORT FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL
Your letter with Ref No. CRSG/DMDP/ILALA/PKG7/134 submitting Pengrade 60/70 Bitumen
manufacturers certificate and test results report for our scrutiny and approval.

From the certificate and test results report by C-Lab, a registered Materials Testing Laboratory,
we note that the samples tested passed all requirements specified under Section ……….. of the
Specifications and therefore the bitumen (Penetration Grade 60/70), manufactured by M/s
……………, represented by the tested samples are approved for use in asphalt concrete for
surfacing the project road.

This approval notwithstanding, further sampling and testing may be instructed by the Project
Manager during construction to verify quality of materials in use all in accordance with Clause
7104 of the Specifications.
