Objective:
At the end of the course, the students should be able to
 Comprehend the construction aspects of foundations, walls, walls, floors, staircases,
doors and windows, lintels, arches, roofs, roof coverings. Plastering, finishing. RC and
steel framed structures.
 Comprehend the construction aspects of joints in structures. Form work. Causes,
prevention and remedies of cracks in buildings. Prefabricated buildings. Shells and dome
structures.
