World Development Indicators (Comparative Data Analysis)
Dear Students!
World Development Indicators inform about the performance of countries over a wide range of
variables. This gives an excellent opportunity to view and analyze the comparative performance
of countries for each indicator. This assignment is meant to introduce you to the performance of
Pakistan on one variable assigned to you (list available at the end). There is a zip file that carries
the data of all variables (allocated to students) in separate MS Excel files for your convenience.
The assignment has two parts it will be submitted in MS word file format.
The first part of the assignment
 Select a group of any FIVE countries/regions from your assigned indicator file.
 Put the data (averages) of Pakistan and your chosen countries/regions into a table in the
following format to have a broad overview. (10 marks)

indicator over the years (not just averages). (30 marks)
