The document discusses the success of Indians abroad compared to in India. It notes that Indians have built major businesses and are highly represented in certain fields like technology and medicine in other countries. However, in India there are many obstacles like a corrupt government, weak infrastructure, limited opportunities, and social biases. These factors make it difficult to succeed within India, whereas other countries provide Indians with more chances to thrive based on merit alone. The document argues that if the proper environment was created in India, through reduced bureaucracy and better facilitation, Indians would be able to achieve similar success within their home country.

It’s a great honour for me to present my views in front of Ca Naveen Kumar Gupta ji The topic given to me was Indians are successful everywhere but not in India
Do you really think this is true? You only have to look at the success of NRIs, and the relative 'failure' of India, and you will be inclined to nod your head in agreement.
Indians have built industrial empires, software businesses,
and a thriving entertainment industry across the world. As per a report. We Indians are the wealthiest among all ethnic groups in America . There are 3.22 millions of Indians in USA i. e. just 1.5% of population. . YET, 38% of doctors in USA are Indians. 12% scientists are Indians. 36% of NASA scientists are Indians. 34% of Microsoft employees are Indians. 28% of IBM employees are Indians. And so on…
If Indians are so successful abroad the question that arises
is- why not in india then? Well the answer is simple- India is a land of over a billion people with a - corrupt government, -weak infrastructure -limited opportunities - ethnic, racial, gender, and caste systems baises etc Reservation is done in almost all the fields. Except in some of the lucky ones like ours... There are six major religions in India, and the Indian constitution recognizes 22 regional languages. Every region in the country has its own customs and character.
it takes a lot to simply survive. Indians battle endless
obstacles, and make the most of what they have. In India, one has to learn to work around the problems that the state and society create for him.
On the other hand
If we are in some other country, we get more opportunities, we are not caught in the ideology of caste restraints. his capability to work hard is admired Let us take an example…A student by the name of Mr India did not perform well, but he is told that he is highly intelligent and gifted, and that great things are expected of him. Contrast this with the student shriman Bharat who is told that he is "very weak" and cannot succeed in life. Who do you think will be motivated and will perform better in the end? of course Mr NRI. The unshakeable self-belief has already been installed in him, and he expects great things of himself, whatever be the hurdles. And his actions will reflect that self-belief, and he will not settle for less in future.
India's problem is a similar one. Motivation is not given to people
even if they work hard. Many people don’t even get an opportunity to show their talent. Whereas if the same Indian show his skills abroad he is appreciated in both ways-emotionally & financially. The list of successful Indians is endless.some of the examples are KAlpana Chawla needs no introduction, Azim Premji the CEO of Wipro Industries(who is considered to be the third richest man in the world as per a report in fortune magazine, Rajiv Gupta- the General manager of hp , Vinod Dahm-, the creator of Pentium chip
Sabeer Bhatia - the founder and creator of Hotmail..
. The truth is, Indians do well everywhere - in India and abroad.
Mr Misra, Joint Secretary, Overseas Indians Ministry of External Affairs says that the Indians are enterprising and have the requisite knowledge. So, given the proper environment, they would flourish anywhere in the world. "The Government of India is working towards providing that environment in the form of investment-facilitation centres. We are trying to break the bureaucratic hold and set the system free."
In the words of Mark Twain-
India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend and the great grand mother of tradition.
THE LIST of India’s glory in past COULD BE ENDLESS.
BUT, if we don't see even a glimpse of that great India, it clearly means that we are not working up to our potential; and that if we do, we could once again be an ever shining and inspiring country setting a bright path for rest of the world to follow. I hope that every one of us work towards the welfare of INDIA and prove to be a Proud Indian .
It is good that we r performing well abroad. But we should
make sure that even if we r in india we should work with same dedication and add to the integrity of our country.
