9.3 It costs R45 for an adult and R20 for a Grade 8 pupil to buy a ticket
for Spring Break. Grade 8 Pupils who achieved 80% for their Mathematics
Examination can enter for free. A group of 80 adults and Grade 8’s decided to go to
Spring Break. Seven Grade 8’s did not pay for tickets and the total cost of the rest
of the group is R1760. Use an equation to find how many Grade 8’s were in the
group.
