RN: Review for the NCLEX-RN® Examination v10

3-Week Study Plan

NCSBN’s Review course for the NCLEX-RN® is accessible 24/7 and mobile device-friendly, so you can study wherever and whenever
you want, giving you control over your study schedule. The approximate time required to complete the entire course, including all Pre-
Assessment Activities, Lessons, Practice Tests and Practice Question Banks, is around 100 hours. However, you determine how much or
how little time you want to spend on the review.

The course includes approximately 1,800 NCLEX-style questions. This total number is spread out throughout the course and is
comprised of Knowledge Check questions within every lesson and questions in the Pre-Assessment Activities, Practice Tests and
Practice Question Banks that are located at the end of the course. As you go through the course, you can take advantage of free access
to Merriam-Webster’s Medical Dictionary, A.D.A.M.® SmartEngage Illustrated Encyclopedia Multimedia Edition, Epocrates® Rx Online
Reference (a pharmacology database) and NCSBN Learning Extension’s own Medication Flashcards. When you need a break, make
sure to check into one of the Relaxation Stations to recharge and reenergize.

The following study plan is for those individuals who prefer a more prescriptive plan for how to best use their 3-week subscription. The
time is divided equally among the three weeks, anticipating that you will be able to study about seven hours a day, for five days each
week. Please note: the practice banks are not lesson- or subject-specific and contain questions from all NCLEX categories.
