VISUAL ART( 2d/3d)


 Are art that create work that primarily visual in nature.
Ex:
1. Ceramic,
2. Drawing
3. paintings sculpture
4. printmaking
5. design craft photography
6. video filmmaking and architecture
7. included industrial design fashion design
8. interior design decorative art

Graphic/2d /two-dimensional surface


 2-dimensional, it means that the composition possesses the dimensions of length and width
but does not possess depth.
Examples:
1. Paintings
2. Drawings
3. Prints
4. and photographs 

Plastic/3d are art that are three dimensional form.


 Three-dimensional art pieces, presented in the dimensions of height, width, and depth, occupy
physical space and can be perceived from all sides and angles.
Examples:
1. architecture
2. construction of building,
3. landscape of garden,
4. park,
5. playground,
6. and trees.
FILM
 Film is the most advanced form of art so far created by man. It not only involves visual
images. 
 refers to the art of putting together successions of still images in order to create an illusion of
movement. Filmmaking focuses on its aesthetic, cultural, and social value and is considered
both an art and an industry.
 Two classification of film
1. Analogue art is that which is created by using traditional materials such as pencils, paints,
paper, canvas and film.
2. Digital art can be made using a wide variety of illustration, painting and photography computer
programs.

Performance art
 Is An Artworks that are created through actions performed by the artist or other participants,
which may be live or recorded, scripted or unscripted.

Performance poetry
 Is an art form where the artist expresses his emotions not by using paint, charcoal, or camera,
but expresses them through words. These words are carefully selected to exhibit clarity and
beauty and to stimulate strong emotions of joy, anger, love, sorrow among others.

ARCHITECTURE
 Architecture is the art and science of designing buildings and other physical structures.
includes the design of the total built environment from the macro level of town planning, urban
design, and landscape

DANCE
 Dance is a performing art form consisting of purposefully selected sequences of human
movement. 
 Dance is series of movements that follows the rhythm of the music accompaniment. Dancing is
a creative art form that allows people to freely express themselves.

experiences that communicate ideas, stories, perceptions, feelings, beauty, or atmosphere through
the use of moving images

LITERARY ART
 Literary art is something in the form of writing or stories that have artistic and cultural value
that displays the beauty of speech and language to convey certain meanings
 Literary art goes beyond the:
 usual professional,
 academic,
 journalistic and other technical forms of writing.

THEATER
 Theater is a collaborative art form which combines words, voice, movement and visual
elements to express meaning.
 Theater uses live performers to present accounts or imaginary events before a live audience.
Theater art performance usually follows follow a script, though they should not be confused
with literary arts.

APPLIED ART
 Applied arts is a broad subject area that combines aesthetics, design, consumer need, and
finding practical solutions to problems.
Examples:
 Industrial design – mass-produced objects.
 Architecture – also counted as a fine art.
 Ceramic art.
 Automotive design.
 Fashion design..
