LEARNING OUTLINES:
Pre Lesson 1. Pupils are guided to sing the Phonics song with gestures.

1. Pupils listen to the sounds s,a,t,p and watch the gestures shown by the teacher.
2. Teacher plays the Phonics song again and pupils listen.
Lesson 3. Pupils are guided to listen and say out the words by using a suitable blending
Development technique.
4. Pupils listen to the sounds and complete ‘Listen & write’ worksheet page 1 in the
Phonics Transition Module.

1. Pupils sing the phonics song with the correct gestures based on the sounds
Post Lesson introduced.
2. Teacher recaps the lesson for the day.
