1. What is a sampling distribution of sample means?
- Sampling distribution of sample means is a frequency
distribution using the means computed from all possible
random samples of a specific size taken from a population.

2. Why is a sample mean considered a random variable? Does a


sample mean has a probability distribution? Why?
- Sample mean is considered a random variable because any
mean based on a sample drawn from a population is expected
to assume a different values for the samples.
- Yes, the sample mean has a probability distribution because it’s
used to estimate the mean of a population.

3. What is a sampling error?


- Sampling error is the difference between the sample mean and
the population.
