American Association for Adult and Continuing Education, Paper presented at the
American Association for Adult and Continuing Education 2020 Conference (Online, Oct
27-30, 2020) states that, As a temporary solution, classroom teaching has necessitated being
solely available online. The goal of this research is to learn more about the current role of
effective distance learning practices in adult and higher education. There will be a focus on
research findings and faculty case studies relating to personal and adult educational
experiences. The study will look at how recent events, such as the pandemic, have affected
distance learning and pedagogical practices. Topics for discussion will be provided for best
practices in distance education for adult learners through faculty case stories and data
analysis.
