ESSAY OUTLINE
The inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace is a fact of life today. Colombia has
people with multiple disabilities who have been hired to work in different positions. This is another
step towards the participation and social integration of these people who deserve opportunities
and are able to develop and practice all their skills. In addition, it is a very big step forward for the
constitution of an inclusive, participative and developed society.

Topic Sentence: In recent years, companies have had large numbers of people with disabilities
working in their facilities, due to the skills these people have developed in the industry.
A. People with disabilities are trained to perform their activities on the job.
B. The presence of people with disabilities within a company will strengthen the
values of the organization and improve the perception of it.

Topic Sentence: Working with people with disabilities brings great tax benefits for
companies, such as lower taxes and participation in local and national commemorative
activities.
A. Although all people have the same rights, not all people with disabilities are able
to work.
B. It contributes to the exercise of learned skills with a work orientation and to the
performance and development not only of the executive environment, but also of
the cultural, political, social, participatory and inclusive environment in which
these people participate.

Topic Sentence: There is still a lot of prejudice and rejection of the inclusion of people
with disabilities in the workplace, without knowing that these people have multiple skills
and are perfect for quiet jobs and are very patient and friendly with the public.
5. Conclusion:
Companies and society in general, must be generators of opportunities for these people
who need to be welcomed and participate in all citizen processes, in addition to knowing
the great benefits of employing a person with a disability, we must also be a reference and
continue to transform lives and social prejudices, demonstrating that disability is only a
word.
