Procedure of setting the arm height of the Workline machines

- On the arm measuring sensor, set the notch opposite the N pole /see the photo/, lock the
sensor.
- With the ARM UP button, set the arm to approx. 2/3 of the total lifting height – manually, the
saw band is not rotating.
- Push/hold the micro-button on the control panel; simultaneously, switch off the machine and
then switch it on with the main switch.
- Release the micro-button /in which way you have got into the setting mode/ of the program;
set the throttle valve of the arm to 1/3 of the downward shift speed.
- Push the START button; the arm starts sinking; approx. 20mm above the cutting plate of the
vice, push the STOP button shortly – saving the arm lower position.
- When the arm down limit switch is triggered, the arm starts to rise again to the upper
position.
- When the upper position has been reached, push the STOP button several times – saving of
the arm upper position.
- Switch the machine off/on; by means of the arm height setting potentiometer, test the limit
positions of the arm /lower, upper/
- Upper position – set the arm height potentiometer to the maximum lifting; if the arm does
not find the height /it is up, the motor is still rotating, the vice is not released/, push/hold the
micro-button on the panel and simultaneously push the STOP button several times – the arm
upper position will be changed; the more times you push the button, the more you lower the
position…
- Perform check/fixation of all components which can affect the arm height setting /control
panel, potentiometer, measuring sensor…/
