F. Scott Fitzgerald was an American author between the periods of 1896 to 1940 and was

best associated with the art of jazz. Studies reveal that he had to drop out of college from where

he joined the US military forces (Nolan, 360). Fitzgerald is attributed to numerous literal works

some of which include; the novel called “the side of paradise” which became very popular

bringing him into the limelight, “the great Gatsby” ad finally the “tender is the night”. However

the latter became one of the worst publications he had ever done. Having stated that, it’s

paramount to be constitute a study to examine and help in the general comprehension of the

background as well as the career lie of the American author Fitzgerald.
