Museum Exhibit
Museum exhibit is a well-planned display of a given historical element. It can be public
show, working show or a private function which is usually perceived to take place in cultural and
educational settings (Arya, Ali, et al, 79). It’s very crucial that the viewing can easily be accessed
in case where there are new persons interested. For our case dealing with the exhibit on the role
of race in America, we can deduce that handling race need to be a personal starter point .the
exhibit outlines different classes of individuals that have ever existed in the American history
and keeps the memory live of all the communities dwelling and those that ever existed on the
American land.
The Montpellier foundation is a memorial center to James Madison and the enslaved
community who lived in Montpellier. The enslaved people were dehumanized and denied the
most basic of needs. The foundation honors those who were enslaved through interpretations and
the exhibition, 'The Mere Distinction of Color’. The mere distinction of color was open for
public viewing in June 4, 2017 with the aim of telling a whole holistic American story. It
recounts the stories of slavery in Montpelier and how the slavery impacts the modern
conversations pertaining race, identity and human rights.
From the authors of the American yawp, a well thought out history can never be just
limited to nouns and dates, its more than just that.it rather should be an aggregate and well
flexible process as it derives its meaning from the living (Feagin, Jayme, et al, 126). It’s believed
that all those that have a difficult time getting to comprehend their own history can never
understand themselves.it farther gives a wide view of the American history it provides an
interpretational view, brings in the picture different voices, pulls up the tale of resistance in
addition to which it also tries to analyze the then complicated methodologies in civilizing
developments.
A number of artefacts such as bones and items used in economic activities and maybe
hunting signatures draws back to a given group of tribe and which may be used to identify a
given tribe or race. This brings out the primary focus of the history and thus very objective in the
education purposes.Americans knows very well that there is still a very big issue in the line of
color, In some parts of the country, the issue of the black underclass and also the increasing of
the black lower class is getting hot, there have been debates on how to reduce this race problem,
most of the blacks that face racial discrimination are the ghetto dwellers, they are stereotyped,
stigmatized about their culture styles and also socially isolated and for this reason they get into a
thought of helplessness and also despair with lower access to communal services ,pariah status is
what blacks suffer to be specific, this shows a shameful relation amongst the two races, since
1960s nearly 20 million immigrants have arrived into American countries, and the majority of
them are the non –European, for number of gone years, blacks liberal advocates have denied the
meaningful change that was taking place, and this remarks have always had a problem, there
have been argues about the legitimate criticism advocating the nation’s to do the right thing for
black community, in other word color should not be an issue in the times we are living.

In conclusion its very imperative that the American history is very wide and covers a
wide range of issue which cannot just be encompassed on the mere theory of cramming a few
names.it brings out the ancient life that need to have breath of life in the new generation.
