The test specimens used for physical tests, in regards to their features, were representative of
the type subjected for approval. Fittings that were tested in the present report are described in
Annex 5.
The non-metallic tested and approved for CNG applications is Nitrile N-1206-70, manufactured
by Parker O’ring Division USA.

2.1 The material constituting the automatic valve, which is in contact with the CNG when operating, shall See below
be compatible with the test CNG. In order to verify this compatibility the procedure specified in annex
5D has to be used.
2.2.1 The automatic valve shall be so designed as to withstand a pressure of 1,5 times the working See below
pressure (Mpa) without leakage and deformation.
2.2.2 The automatic valve shall be so designed as to be leak-proof at a pressure of 1,5 times the working YES-NA-NT-NO
pressure (Mpa) (see annex 5B)
2.2.3 The automatic valve, being in the normal position of use specified by the manufacturer, is submitted YES-NA-NT-NO
to 20.000 operations; then it is deactivated. The automatic valve shall remain leak-proof at a
pressure of 1,5 times the working pressure (MPa) (see annex 5B)
2.2.4 The automatic valve shall be so designed to operate at temperatures as specified in annex 5O YES-NA-NT-NO
2.3 The electrical system, if existing, shall be isolated from the body of the automatic valve. Isolation YES-NA-NT-NO
resistance shall be > 10 MΩ.
2.4 The automatic valve activated by an electrical current shall be in a “closed” position when the current YES-NA-NT-NO
is switched off.
2.5 The automatic valve has to comply with the test procedures for the class component determined
according to the scheme in Figure 1-1 of paragraph 2 of this regulation (see below)

7.1 The materials constituting the PRD (Pressure triggered) which are in contact with the CNG when See below
operating, shall be compatible with the test CNG. In order to verify this compatibility, the procedure
described in Annex 5D shall be used.
7.2.1 The PRD (pressure triggered) of Class 0, shall be so designed to operate at temperatures as See below
specified in the Annex 5O.
7.2.2 The burst pressure shall be 34 MPa ± 10 per cent at ambient temperature and at the maximum YES-NA-NT-NO
operating temperature as indicated in Annex 5O.
7.3 The device has to comply with the test procedures for the Class components, specified in the See below
scheme in Figure 1-1 of paragraph 2. of this Regulation, except overpressure, internal leakage and
external leakage.
Cycle the PRD (pressure triggered) according Table 3, with water between 10 per cent and 100 per
cent of the working pressure, at a maximum cyclic rate of 10 cycles per minute and a temperature
of 82°C ± 2°C or 57°C ± 2°C.

7.4.1.2 Requirements

7.4.1.2.1. At the completion of the test, the component shall not leak more than 15 cm hour when submitted YES-NA-NT-NO

1. INTRODUCTION
The valve "MIAMI" (A9 type) manufactured at factory OMB Saleri SpA has been
successfully examined for compliance to the below ECE R110-01 standard as proven by the
KIWA Nederland B.V. job Ref. 127170 and by the RDW Certificate (E4) 110R-010364

With the current new documentation OMB Saleri SpA is herein reviewing the product in
order to ADD a Second Variant/Version (#2) as regard the Solenoid Valve
All the above listed items are shown in the drawings enclosed in the previous documentation
job (Ext.00). In the current job the New Solenoid Valve Variant/Version will be enclosed
only.

vehicle will be completed an additional installation check for the complete vehicle has to
be carried out. See the test report and the documentation for what is covered in this
certificate
