Sleep Better

TWO HOURS
Keep regular
At least two hours sleep/wake times
without screens
This doesn’t necessarily

Maintain a regular sleep schedule


Keeping a sleep schedule within an hour of
what’s usual helps keep the circadian rhythm in
check.

Make sure teen knows that expect her/him to


1. Charge phones elsewhere. be in bed by 9:30 p.m. with the lights out by
10:00
2. Discourage afternoon naps.
3. Don’t procrastinate on big tasks
4. Limit caffeine
5. Realize sleep isn’t instant
