“Aim to be Better”

Everyone wants to be successful in their dreams. I also dream of

becoming successful in the field I choose although I am still hesitant
about the career path I will choose. But I know whatever I choose I will
work hard, stay focused and make it big especially because I am doing
this to make my parents proud. In my 16 years of existence the most
valuable lesson that I learn is that we need to know how to become
independent in our life and also to save and invest something while we
are young because we never know what will happen in the future, we
never know if there is someone who can help us in times of need in
financially or even in other things.

My mom always tell me to save and invest because she always says
when the time comes you have nothing else to look forward to but
yourself since I am an only child, I know my mother has a point
because she already experienced that kind of situation. That is why
when I already got the news that my cousin became a doctor she
became one of my inspiration and my motivation to choose the career
path that I will take, although just like what I said I am still hesitant
because I am scared that I may fail and disappoint my family but then I
realized that every successful person in this world already fails and that
failure is one of the process to success. Since then, I started to trust
myself more and to take time to learn, to be more independent, and to
use this time to save and invest for the future because I am not just
aiming to be a successful person, I am aiming to be a better person.
