Famine is Destroying us One by One

Throughout the years famine has been hiding in the shadows of other world issues.
“ Famine is not caused by a shortage of food; it's caused by a shortage of justice”, quoted by
Duncan McLaren. Now is the time to draw attention to countries with high rates of famine .
Countries such as Yemen and Africa are making an effort to find resources to continue a healthy
lifestyle. Famine won't just go away overnight but with enough resources it can evidently get
better such as sending funds instead of food, spreading awareness, and having peace with these
countries.
First, countries worldwide are going through famine for many variance reasons such as
war, crop failure, population imbalance, and government policies. By all means this issue can not
be solved rapidly it will take time, by starting now with spreading awareness famine can change
for the better for those countries who are struggling with starvation. Many argue that we
shouldn't worry about other countries except for ones own due to many issues other countries
have started with the United States of America.Others believe that those people who are going
through famine shouldn't suffer due to government issues. In that case one way the people that
have resources can help, by sending donations to countries struggling with famine. There are
many charities that support famine such as Bread for the World Institute, Action Against Hunger
etc. These are a few of the many ways others can contribute to decrease hunger in these countries
without having to physically go.
In addition, social media has grown dramatically over the years, people from all cultures
and ages use social media to get information on the local news. In fact by using social media
platforms it can raise awareness to famine. Influencers can use their platform to post charities or
donation sites, because having a big fan intake can increase the amount of awareness and
donations towards the charities. Other than using social media people can also spread awareness
by setting up public debates on famine. This can spread awareness and also have people join and
open doors to this issue others did not see before. Spreading awareness of famine is a huge step
into solving the world hunger issues many countries have, and can also increase the amount of
people willing to donate and support those who are struggling with famine.
Lastly, the government can set their issues straight and have world peace. Many of the
countries including the United States have issues with one another due to many reasons. The
reasons can be different cultures and beliefs but most importantly the way the country is runned.
Most of these countries are run by a form of government such as with a king, dictator, or
president. Countries should decide on an agreement such as to leave one another alone unless
there's trade. This has worked for many other countries and it can also work for these struggling
countries.
In Conclusion, there are many ways to help those countries that are going through famine
such as sending funds instead of food, spreading awareness, and having peace with these
countries. As a world people should unite and help one another and keep this world strong. Who
knows if one day when your country needs help who will be to help. Therefore that's why other
personal problems should be set aside and we should do what was set for the people and help
each through thick and thin.
