Reflection

This assignment was important because it showed us how to create a simple newsletter for our students’

parents. As teachers we need to make sure to include our students’ parents in what their children are

learning and how they can help their child succeed. I learned that we need to keep the newsletter simple,

but include information that is useful to the parents. I would say this was easy for me. It was fun

brainstorming ideas of how parents can play with their child. Playing is something I love most about

kids, because you can really see how they use their imagination. Something I could do differently next

time is to use a more creative format for the newsletter. I chose to use one found on the website

provided. I think next time I can try to create my own template for the newsletter.
