ENGLISH CORRESSPONDENCE

I. Course Description
This course basically teaches the competence on writing documents of business
letters.

II. Course Objectives


1. Students are able to know some types, forms, and parts of business letters.
2. Students are able to write some types of business letters correctly.

III. Course Activities


Lecturing, students’ presentations & discussions (soft files submitted), exercises, and
tests.

IV. Assessment:

Students will be assessed on the basis of the following components namely On Going
Assessment and Product Assessment. Additionally, students’ participation and attendance are
also taken into consideration.

a. On Going Assessment is used during the teaching and learning process.


b. Product Assessment is used in mid-test and final assignment.
Students' final grade will be determined on Mid-Term Test (30%), Final Test (40%),
Assignments (individual assignment 10%, group assignment 10%) and the last is
presence 10%
Total Score : (UTS x 30%)+(UAS x 40%)+(Assignment x 20%)+(presence x
10%)
