The course, in general, comprises of the principles and methods used for instruction to
be implemented by TVET teachers to achieve the desired learning objectives. It deals
with the principles of effective instruction and the processes involved in the actual
instructional planning.
Course Description
Moreover, the course pays attention to more appropriate and efficient use of the
teaching methods in relation to the nature of the learner and the subject they teach.
The course represents the curriculum that aims to develop the range of knowledge and
skills needed in teaching profession as applied to technical vocational schools.
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
 Know the meanings of teaching and learning
 Recognize the principles of teaching and learning
 Comprehend the views operating in the instructional processes
