● Attend leadership speaker series at least once a month either in person or virtually.
● The speaker series consist of guests coming in to share information on finance, careers, leadership,
student success, and many other topics that may help us during and after our college experience.
● Requires members every semester to take part in experiential learning opportunities outside of the
classroom in order to start gaining experience in a work environment.
○ Includes: internships (on-campus and off-campus), jobs, research, practicum, and more
University Federal Credit Union Scholars, Austin, Texas November 2018 – present
● Helps members grow professionally by providing internship opportunities as well as workshops
● Members start learning to network and connect with community leaders, thus gaining resources for
their professional life
● Budgeting and financing is also something that members get to learn about directly from UFCU
employees
UTeach - Liberal Arts, Austin, Texas August 2019 – present
● Preparation for teacher certification at the middle and high school level
● The program has students take four semesters of courses that work on teaching philosophies and
theories with each semester adding on to the previous one
● Each course requires students to do field experience by teaching and observing in a classroom with a
cooperating teacher

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
UTeach LA, Austin, Texas August 2019 – present
Student Teacher
● Work closely with a cooperating teacher in order to gain knowledge on what it is like to run a
classroom
● Every semester the is an hour requirement that has to be met in order to fulfill this with the UTeach
program
● Aside from observing, student teachers are required to do lesson planning and teach full lessons that
have been reviewed and work on with the cooperating teacher and the UTeach professor
HEB, Austin, Texas November 2018 – February 2020
PT cashier
● Work 20 hours a week while being a full-time student
● Dealt with money transactions
● Help customers in anything they may need
● Assisted in other departments as well whenever it was needed
Breakthrough Central Texas, Austin, Texas June 2019 – August 2019
Summer Teaching Fellow
● Taught English to middle school students (rising 7th graders)
● Worked around 50 hours a week planning, preparing and teaching lessons
● Co-lead a committee on self-care and health that required extra planning time aside from my
preparation for my core class
● Served as a mentor for the students and worked closely with them and their families
Dell, Austin, Texas July 2018 – November 2018
US Outbound Logistics
● Work 20 hours per week while being a full-time student
● Work with Dell and shipping company representatives to help solve customer needs
 ● Help address any issues or tracking information the customers may have on their orders
● Team consisted of a small group of 9 members where we worked closely together to solve all
Outbound questions from customers
