OXYGEN FOR EMERGENCY

Dear Member,
We are pleased to inform you that below should be available for emergency use by residents till they can
make alternate arrangements

• 4 Oxygen Concentrator (procured by JBA) (managed by COVID Committee) – available from 29 April
• 5 Oxygen Cylinders (3 returnable to Arya Samaj and 2 donated by Mrs Rekhi 231JB)
• 2 Oxygen Concentrator (given for common use by Mrs & Mr Nayar 168 JB) (managed by Sonny Sarna
9999209895 and Sarita Sarna 9313857575). Those in need may get in touch with them directly.

The following rules have been formulated for use by JBA:

CONCENTRATORS/CYLINDER
1. The concentrator will be given on ‘First Come First Serve’ basis and no hierarchy will be followed.
Preference will be given to elderly patients, or those with oxygen levels around 85. The machine will
not be given out for ‘backup’ purposes.
Members can make their booking by sending a DM to Kshmendra Narain (+91-98990-33228) and/or
Anmol Khanna (+91-98114-30062) with the following details
• oxygen saturation,
• pulse,
• fever,
• symptoms and
• what other medication they are taking

The request with all details will be approved by Dr. Pradeep Bery (COVID Committee) before
assigning the concentrator/cylinder.

2. Residents may take the machine for up to 24hrs and extendable to 48hrs, after which it needs to be
mandatorily returned so that the next affected family may be served.
 Please note that this machine is only a stop gap arrangement to cover any immediate emergency and
not meant to be kept for the complete duration of individual treatment. Also the cylinder may not last
as long if on constant use.

3. Patients / Attendants will be responsible for administering the oxygen, which should only be given
according to their doctor’s instructions.

4. A Disclaimer form will have to be signed by the member / his family. Staff signature will not be
acceptable.

5. Member/resident need to make sure that the machine is returned to the RWA in good running
condition.

6. A fresh mask needs to be used for every new patient. it will be provided by JBA (if available - stocks
are limited)

7. The operating instructions will come along with the machine - please follow accordingly.

8. The machine will be dropped to your residence by the help at JB Community Centre. They will also
pick up the machine after the allocated timeline.

9. The machine should be properly sanitised before returning it to the RWA with alcohol based sanitizer.

10. This service will only be available to resident members of Jor Bagh RWA and their immediate families
(if they reside in Jor Bagh).

11. Members are requested to treat the machine with gentle hands as it was their own so that we can
continue this service for a long time.

12. Members are also very humbly requested to kindly co-operate and voluntarily give way for a more
emergent situation in another household, in case any such need arises.
