Requirements for Table Runners Workshop

There is a choice of four table runners:

Disappearing 9-Patch - Floating Stars - Strippy Braid - Woodland Village
All are easy makes although the Woodland Village will take more time as there
is more piecing involved. You can vary the length of the runners to fit your
table, shorter is fine but if you want to make a longer runner or add borders to
make it wider you will need more fabric.

REQUIREMENTS:
As well as the fabric requirements given below you will need rotary cutting
equipment, sewing machine with ¼in foot and walking foot, piecing and
quilting thread and general sewing kit.

Disappearing 9-Patch - Finished size 13½in wide x 52½in long

One charm pack of 42 x 5” squares (Sadie used Hearts Content by Laundry

Basket Quilts for Moda)
30cm of binding fabric
16in x 56in of backing fabric
16in x 56in wadding
Floating Stars - Finished size 14in wide x 68in long

One charm pack of 42 5in squares for background – I used Cinnaberry by 3

Sisters for Moda

50cm of contrast fabric for stars – I used a light fabric but this would look
equally good in a dark or a bright print dependent on the colours in your charm
pack
40cm of binding fabric
16in x 72in of backing fabric
16in x 72in of wadding

Strippy Braid - Finished size 12in wide x 63in long

Four fat quarters – one will be for the squares down the centre and other
three for the strips either side. Choose a non-directional fabric for the squares
as these are set on point.
40cm of binding fabric
14in x 67in of backing fabric
14in x 67in of wadding
Woodland Village - Finished Size 10½in wide x 70in long

At least four fat quarters (I used five fat quarters) for the houses and trees
and/or an assortment of scraps from your stash. You need to be able to cut
2½in wide strips from the scraps, left over Jelly Roll strips are ideal.
50cm of background fabric for the sky – the above sample shows several light
fabrics for the sky but you can use just one fabric
40cm of binding fabric
13in x 74in of backing fabric
13in x 74in of wadding
