Anxiety disorders are the most dominant psychiatric disorders and are usually

associated with diseases. Treatment is usually indicated when patients have high levels of

anxiety. Normally, anxiety disorders should be treated with psychological-type therapy,

medications or a combination of both (Bandelow, Michaelis, & Wedekind, 2017).

Cognitive behavioral therapy is considered as psychotherapy with the highest levels of

evidence. The most commonly used drugs are usually inhibitors, antidepressants and others

that require continuous use for 6 to 12 months. The development of a treatment plan

considers various aspects of the patient such as efficacy, possible side effects, the patient's

opinion and the cost-benefit ratio.

According to Karen Reed (2018), the benefits obtained from anti-anxiety treatments

can vary from one individual to another and depending on the procedure or therapy used,

the objective of this type of treatment usually seeks to reduce anxiety, cure phobias and

reduce the factors that generate depression.

Figures 1 and 2 show the tendency to decrease levels of anxiety, as a result of the

application of two different treatments on two individuals. The fact that treatment times

differ is different because the response of patients may vary from one treatment to another,

and it is also observed that individuals in general have a reduction in anxiety levels, but in

some cases this reduction It can be more significant than in others.
