To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Nowadays, people are greatly concerned about how national budget is
allocated into various sectors. There are those who argue that this
amount of money need saving up for the poor to lift them out of the
current poverty. From my own perspective, the government should
invest money into basic welfare of its dwellers besides a reasonable
amount on holding festivals.
With the socio-economic development, there are varieties of serious
diseases appearing and public health service need considering as one
of the top priority concern. Governments should upgrade hospitals
and invest more advanced technologies to meet the requirements of
diagnosis as well as having appropriate solutions to deter infective
diseases from spreading over the whole community.
Besides, // Another problem that needs to be considered is the situation
of unemployment among poor people. In developing and less
developed countries, the rate of unemployed people is increasing
significantly// is witnessing a phenomenal growth and these people do
not receive any policy of unemployment benefit. Hence, they find it
challenging to survive in the society and are likely to commit crimes
such as burglary and robbery. Thus, it is of necessity that governments
pay attention to solving unemployment among poor people.
However, there are certain benefits of hosting festivals. Festivals are
chances for citizens to recharge their battery after a long time of
working hard. These are also the golden opportunities for children to
understand// to explore more about their forefathers’ traditions and
customs. Hence, the offspring take pride in their roots. Nevertheless,
the amount of money invested into holding festivals, once again, must
be reasonable.
Ultimately, the government should put basic issues of its citizens on
agenda. Besides, it is ideal if the government can meet the mental
demand of the dwellers.
