1. Which of the following four international strategies is Kia using? Is this the best strategy
for Kia to be using?

 Kia is using an international strategy. Companies integrating this kind of strategy

do not focus on costs or adaptation to local or cultural traditions of a country.
Instead, international strategy is the attempt of selling products or services with
little to no change in all of their branches/franchises. This approach is best for Kia
since their products are globally considered as necessities in the current period.
With this kind of product offering, consumers do not pay much attention to what
is unique about it but focuses more on its main function.

2. Identify examples of companies using each of the four international strategies other than
those described above. Which company do you think is best positioned to compete in
international markets?

 For transnational strategy, Ford Motor Company is an example since it produces

“world car” wherein the company can benefit from adjustment of costly elements
as well as enhance some elements to meet the culture of the country. Global
strategy pays attention to having low pricing where in Vivo Communication
Technology Company can be an example. Vivo offers smartphones and other
electronic devices having lower prices compared to other brands. Nestle can be an
example of multi-domestic strategy because it uses one of a king marketing and
sales method for each of the markets it operates as well as offers differentiation of
products per target market. Lastly, Apple Company can serve as an example for
international strategy because it offers products that only need a little to no
change at all when selling it to other parts of the world.
Apple Company is the best business to compete in international markets since its
product offerings are now considered as necessities for individuals especially in
today’s period. The products of this company are also very useful for the people
