Owned by Pepsico, this US-based company dates as back as 1952, before it was acquired by
PepsiCo in 1998. Taking over the Indian market after Frooti and Maaza, it was one of the first
brands to bring out multi-flavoured juices all across India. It currently stands as the market leader
but is not in as dominant a position that is was a couple of years ago, since its share is being taken
away by other entrants, including Tru.

4.3.3 Real:

A brand of Dabur India, this packaged fruit drink lives up to the parent motto of serving natural
products. Real claims to be completely free from artificial flavours and preservatives. Endorsed
by Protein Foods & Nutrition Development Association of India, it has been voted as the most
trusted fruit juice brand for four years in a row.
