The Fox School of Business offers an electronic application process. Through the online portal
at fox.temple.edu/applynow, you manage your own application process from start to finish. We
allow online submission of applications prior to official transcript delivery, required document
collection, or GMAT/GRE completion, in order to expedite the application process.

W R I T E Y O U R E S S AY
You will need to submit an essay outlining your goals as part of your application. While essays
typically run 1-2 pages, you are not obligated to meet a minimum or maximum length—please
simply answer the question thoughtfully and to the best of your ability. Please address the below
prompt within your essay content:

This essay is meant to get to know more about your
goals with the Fox Specialized Masters program.
Use this essay to explain why Fox is the appropriate
school for your graduate work, and why this is the
right time in your career to further your education.
Consider where you see yourself 2-3 years from
now, post-graduation - and again 8-10 years from
now – what will a Fox Specialized Masters degree
help you accomplish in your career? The clearer you
are with your goals, the easier it is for us to help you
reach them.

Your final application will need to include two references. You may wish to notify your references
before you begin your application that they have two options for submitting recommendations
before the final application deadline.

OPTION 1:
As you complete your online application, you will find an option to enter the names and email
addresses of your references. Our application system will automatically generate a PDF reference
form that will be emailed to the addresses provided. Your references should complete and submit
this form either through our electronic system or via email.

OPTION 2:
Your references may choose to submit a traditional letter of recommendation by post. This should be
mailed in a sealed envelope to the below address:

REQUEST YOUR TR ANSCRIPTS

Applications to all programs at the Fox School are required to include an official transcript from an
accredited university. Your official transcript must be delivered in a sealed and signed envelope directly
from your undergraduate university. To expedite your application process, however, you may upload
your unofficial transcript through the online applicant portal. Temple University Alumni do not need to
forward transcripts as these can be retrieved directly from the Temple database.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Merit-based scholarships are available for some masters programs at the Fox School of Business;
applicants to these programs receive automatic consideration. A committee evaluates admitted
students on GMAT/GRE scores and academic accomplishments, and distributes awards based on
achievement in comparison to peer performance. Additionally, all Temple alumni admitted to any Fox
School graduate program receive a 5% tuition scholarship.
