Introduction

A blog is a discussion or informational website published on the World Wide Web consisting of
discrete, often informal diary -style text entries. The term "weblog" was coined by Jorn Barger on
17 December 1997. The short form, "blog", was coined by Peter Merholz, who jokingly broke the
word weblog into the phrase we blog in the sidebar of his blog Peterme.com in April or May 1999.
Posts are displayed in reverse chronological order, so that the most recent post appears first, at the
top of the web page. newspapers, other media outlets, universities, think tanks, advocacy groups,
and similar institutions account for an increasing quantity of blog traffic. The rise of Twitter and
other " microblogging " systems helps integrate MABs and single-author blogs into the news
media.
In the late 1990s was development of web publishing tools that facilitated the posting of blog who
did not have much experience with HTML or computer programming. Bloggers do not only
produce content to post on their blogs, but also often build social relations with their readers and
other bloggers. Most blogs are primarily textual, although some focus on art, photographs, videos,
music, and audio. When a blog become part of our everyday activities they become more
influencer on human behavior. Some peoples started to post hater speeches, become negatively
distort peoples thinking as a result blog owners used some measurement to block those messages
for being shared on the network.
There are some notable blogs, Mc Sparky, Angilam, The art life, Athletic Nation etc. Those are
only blog site, to read what other wrote. There two most notable blog making sites WordPress and
blogger site. Those enhance creating blogs with clicks. We can collaborate reading and creation of
blogs on the same sites to save users time.
The use of websites for business purpose is largely growing in Ethiopia. The prevalent view in
various global circles is that man is presently living in an age growth of information gathering,
processing and dissemination, popularly called the information age. For this reason, business mans
and private organizations and other users of information are demanding more of information to
support their business and operations. They must therefore respond to the increasing requirement
for information and data management. Website (online promotion of service) are critical for
promotions of service and expressing feeling, experiences of individual persons but they are not
currently utilized as compares to social medias. We can increase the usability of website by
creating better environment for creating those websites.
As we know websites are disseminated on deferent servers, they cannot be accessed on the
packaged way as social medias, in array and arranged order. Peoples need to search specific
business company to see the options. We think it’s is one of backward it has relative to social
medias. To solve this, we can divide and store blog sites based on categories so that users can
access websites based on categories.

Most of the peoples today are more attracted to social medias than websites, to shift the attentions
to websites and blogs, we need to reward peoples for their work as you tube did.

2.Problem of Statement

Currently, in Ethiopia there aren’t many popular websites. Peoples, organizations and
governmental institutions need to have websites so that they can express there feeling, service and
life experience, consequently, peoples can be motivated from it and access the service providers
contact, service description. Peoples on social medias (for instance Facebook) post fake news by
mentioning popular peoples name, the reader can not verify or cross cheek weather the information
is true or not, however we can use website to cross cheek the trustworthiness of the news. As
individuals has the cheap and easy opportunity to develop websites, we can verify the news on
social medias by accessing the personal website of that person.
In Ethiopia most of the populations are illiterate. If a farmer from some local area who doesn’t
have knowledge about how to design a website wants to promote his product online, then there
should be an easy way to allow those peoples to able to create websites. Peoples with no HTML
or CSS background are able to construct websites just by clicks.
There are in billions of blog known to be made by WordPress. Let’s say that an individual is
impressed by some person personal blog, wants to see more of this person blog however there is
no easy way to access the blogs from one place. He or she need to search and navigate on different
page to get the blogs. The system we are preparing to construct completely avoid this problem by
placing them on the same website.
Scholar peoples on writing poem, essay etc., should be rewarded for their good writing skill,
information providence. Reward is one of the most important motivating factor. If peoples are
rewarded for their work, they became hunger to work more which in turn helps others. The
proposed system has some reward based on reader’s feedback.
In some blogs there are unnecessary content usages like pornographic pictures or words. The blog
might be accessed by underage clients and the message will be wrongly interpreted and used. On
the blog creation section our system will try to illuminate those by blocking them from being
created.
The blog creating and reading website owners will be benefited from service provided payment.
The user will pay some fixed amount of cash as they create a new website. There will be blog
readers group who will pay a fixed amount of cash per month for accessing blogs on the same
website and based on category.

3. Project Objective
3.1 General Objective

The general objective of the system is to provide users friendly all in one, fast website creation
without prior knowledge of programming and accessing blogs using categories and username. In
addition to users the service providers can be benefited from service delivery payment.
Our web creating and reading system:
 Creates websites.
 Accessing those created websites.
 Provide efficient website development tools.
 Reward good writers.
 Creating verified accounts.
 Reduction of cost to develop website.
 Reduction of time to navigate specific blog.
 Eliminate the development of inappropriate content/moto blogs.
3.2 Specific Objective

Particularly, the study aimed to achieve the following:

 To collect requirements.
 To understand the problem in the existing system.
 To plan to solve the problem.
 To design and develop the system.
 To develop data base.
 To develop web-based system.
 Testing the system acceptance, component testing, unit testing.
 To understand how data inputted into the system.

4. Scope and Limitation of the Project
4.1 Organizational Scope

Our system, the blog creating and reading website use internet, so that it can be visited from
anywhere by everyone. There are some catchy we want to add, there are some site which provide
the same service like ours, however this system will be developed specially for Ethiopians peoples,
there will be content which promote Ethiopian culture and manners.
4.2 Limitations of the Project

The system will have some limitations on service payment. User may not use mobile banking.
Even if they have mobile banking there will be a lot of bank options users are using, so they system
may not support all banks available.
The system may not completely detect unnecessary contents creation, however there might be
some error, those errors should be tolerable.
The users must agree on all the terms and privacy policies to use the system.so after user submit
blog creation form there will only 2 more available edibility opportunity.
The users after paying for creation there is no way turning back, or to undo the creation. Because
after the payment step the system already created a box storage on the server to store your blog
contents.

5.System Development Methodology and Tools

The system is multi task. Which implies that a little complex operation, but simple coding design.
Blog is a single page descriptive information, and doesn’t have much operational buttons, as a
result the system user small amount of storage to store the blog files.
In this paper, the proposed blog creation and reading system will be developed using Extensible Hypertext
Markup Language (XHTML), PHP Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), Structure Query Language (SQL), Ajax,
Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), and JavaScript.

Features of the system:

 Data recorded will be kept safely.

 User can create blogs easily.
 User can read blogs using category and searching by username.
 Provide better quality of service.
 Attractive and simple templates can be used to create blogs.

5.1 Software Tools

The system uses the following system development tools for different tasks.

 Client Side: JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Ajax.

 Microsoft Office Visio 2012- to design scheduling phase
 Server side: PHP
 Star UML: for UML modeling diagram
 Notepad++, sublime, Bracket: to write implementation or code
 Microsoft power point 2019 for presentation.
 Apache: Web Server
 PHP engine: for running PHP script
 Web browsers: to run the program code from the server side.

5.2 Hardware Tools

 Casper nivara personal computer.
 Hard disk 1TB
 RAM 6GB
 Processing(CPU):>=2.46GHZ
 Network Cable (RJ-45)

5.3 Design and Implementation Methodology

5|Page
Methodology is a collection of phases, procedures, rules, techniques, tools, documentations and trainings
to improve the quality of a software development effort. Our system will use object oriented system
analysis and design methodology so that it a be polymorphic, abstract and encapsulated.

We used OOSAD because:

 We can reuse objects.

 Detail of some operation can hidden.
 We can partition large complex algorithms in to pieces so they can be solved.

5.4 Data Collection Methodology

To develop a system, we need to have data to analyze the activities performed in the current system and
newly and developing new system. Data to develop the system obtained more than one sources. Those
sources can be peoples and information’s on the network.

Primary data source

Via Ethernet: we can read and gather information about blog from websites. we navigate or search queries
on network system.

Interview:

The other method we have used to get information about the general view of the system is by interviewing
website users and some experienced website developers.

 How to design the interface to be interactive and reflective of Ethiopian culture?

Document Analysis: Collecting certain relevant information from written documents.

6.Significance of the Project

The project has so many significances that aid the community using It. Currently, in Ethiopia there are
finger count number of peoples who has knowledge about the importance of websites. Website are more
reliable than social media posts, more attractive and worldwide. Social media posts only can be share with
small group, who are friend of yours, however website can be accessed from anywhere by everyone. Our
system creates a comfortable environment for development of websites to enhance illiterate peoples to
use from the significance of websites.

 Minimize the time to create a website.

 Minimize cost.
 Increase Efficiency by decreasing errors.
 Minimize work load to create and also to read blogs.
 The system can support multiple users at access concurrently.
 Motivate good writers to do more by rewarding.

6.1 Feasibility Study

This section, explains the utility and usage of the system proposed. After the system developed, the
system must be used and put it points on human day to day life. We believe the system in near future will
be very help full, as people’s knowledge on blog websites increasing. And it 100% can be done and
function, because there are some blog making websites which are working and they are making profit out
of it. We have analyzed the feasibility of the system in terms of economic feasibility, technical feasibility,
operational feasibility and Schedule feasibility of the new system.

6.1.1 Economic feasibility

The economic feasibility analysis includes a concern of cost and benefit analysis, long term usage, cost of
resource needed for development and implementation of the project. In the existing manually writing
programs we cannot develop many websites in limited time interval, not as much as automatically
developing websites. The system avoids the need of an expert (programming skill) to develop a blog
website. Since the cost of resources for development of system satisfies the organization, the software is
economically feasible. It has two benefits:

 Tangible benefits:
 Reduce usage of software and experts to program the blog websites.
 Reduce time it takes to program the blog site.
 Reduce time it takes to navigate blogs.
 Intangible benefits: The system we are developing has many intangible benefits that revolve
around mental satisfaction of users. Those are;
 Increase efficiency
 Increase work quality.

6.1.2 Technical Feasibility

Technical feasibility is the process of evaluating the organization ability to construct a proposed system.
Our project is technically feasible, because it can generate outputs in a given time, easy to communicate
and generally it satisfies the end-user’s requirement. And also our new system can work the current
technology and our focus is to develop well organized dynamic website that is technically efficient and
effective for the customers. The technical feasibility issues usually raised during the stage of fact finding
includes the following:

 The proposed system will be able to run on Linux and windows operating system.
 The proposed system can be implemented on any other platforms.

6.1.3 Operational Feasibility

Operational feasibility identifies whether the current work practices and procedures are adequate to
support new system. The new system can be easily operated and accessed by the users who are familiar
with the websites and blog sites. It contains user friendly commands which leads users interact to the

7|Page
system interfaces. Operational feasibility includes the following criteria’s that the system performs the
following-

 The proposed system offers user friendly environment.

 The proposed system produces best result and gives high performance.
 The proposed system produces all in one package for users.
