(1) Rotate the following stress tensors about z-axis for θ = 40º (units in MPa)

stress given below.

(a) σxx = 20MPa , σyy = -40 Mpa and τxy = -10

(b) σxx = 30 Mpa, σyy = 0Mpa and τxy = 5Mpa
