Environmental problems

Environmental problems

Many of environmental problems affect us and the world. We, the humans are the
problem in most environmental issues. Humans impact the physical environment in
many ways: overpopulation, pollution, burning fossil fuels and deforestation. Changes
like these have triggered climate change, soil erosion, poor air quality and
undrinkable water.
What can we do?

Here are some examples of the easiest things you can do for the environment.
● Reusable bags- We can use reusable bags instead of plastic grocery bags, because these can
suffocate animals, who get stuck in them and it takes a while for the bags to decompose.
● Recycle- Recycling reduces the need for extracting, refining and processing raw materials all
of which create substantial air and water pollution.
● Save electricity- This is probably the easiest thing you can do here. Just make sure you turn
off the TV, lights and other things, if you are not using them anymore.
● Avoid taking cars- Cars are harmful to the environment, because they emit carbon dioxide
and other greenhouse gases. Walking or taking a bike is a better option for the environment
and you, because it doesn’t emit any greenhouse gases nor carbon dioxide and you are also
doing some exercise for yourself.
Myself

Me and my family do all the examples that I brought up in the previous slide. We
don’t do anything very special. We just do the simplest things that we can. And
so should you. You don’t have to do anything special. If we all did this, we
wouldn’t have to make big cleaning campaigns, where people that came have to
clean litter, because you have thrown trash on the ground, because you are too
lazy to go and throw it to a bin.
