Personal Information - Stephen

Hi. My name is Stephen. I am 21 years old and I am from Belgrad, Serbia. My surname is Strabulovic. It
is a typical serbian name. I don’t think I have a real nickname but my friends sometimes call me Steph. I
am student and I a also have a part-time job. I study Maths and Computer Science at the State University
of Belgrad and I also work as a sports instructor at my University’s Gym. I like to study and I also like
my job. I like Computer Science because it is interesting and challenging. If you know how to program,
you can help people in many ways. When I graduate, I want to work in education. I want to create
programs that will help students learn, discover new things and organise their school material. At the
Gym I teach younger students play table-tennis, volleyball and badminton. I love sports and I think
everyone should practice at least one sport when they are young. I am not married but I have a girlfriend.
Her name is Ana and she is 20 years old. She is also from Belgrad. She studies Arts and Literature. I have
two older brothers and a younger sister. Their names are Michael, Dmitri and Elena. My birthday is on
the 2nd of August. I was born in Zagreb, Croatia, but my parents moved to Serbia when I was 5. I always
tell people I am from Serbia, when they ask. My address is Dubrovnik Street number 11, Belgrad. I don’t
live with my parents. I live with Dmitri, who is also a student and with another friend – Peter. We live in
a big, modern apartment. My phone number is 568995817 and my email address is

In my free time I usually go out with friends and do sports, I read and I listen to music. I like to surf the
internet, but I try not to spend too much time doing this. I also like to walk in the park with my brother or
go to the cinema or to a restaurant with Ana. I think I am a romantic person, but also funny and sociable. I
like to talk to people and to make new friends wherever I go. I think that my biggest hobbies are music,
reading and sports. I also want to try acting, but I don’t know if I can make time for this.

As I mentioned, I like movies and listening to music. My favourite movies are historical and drama
movies. I also like to watch documentaries and scientific films. I like all kinds of music, except rock and
jazz. I usually listen to pop or instrumental songs, but sometimes I also listen to folk music. I like to read
a lot. Most of the time I read historical books and contemporary novels. I don’t like romantic novels. I
think I am more of an ‘’action’’ person.

My favourite food is serbian traditional food, but I also like the European buffet. I don’t usually eat meat,
but when I do, I prefer chicken. I like fish and vegetables, especially roasted vegetables. My favourite
food is pizza and burgers, with healthy and natural ingredients. I also like cheese and milk and fruits. I try
to have a healthy and balanced diet.

My favourite colours are green and yellow. I have been learning English for 10 years and I am still
improving my English skills. I am happy to know this language because it is the most used language
around the world and it has helped me very much with my studies. Besides English and Serbian, I also
speak Italian and a little bit of French. I love languages, but I don’t have much time to study them,
because I am usually very busy studying for my univesity course.

I don’t have any pets here in my apartment in Belgrad, but at my parent’s home we have 3 German
Sheperd dogs. I am very fond of them. They are big, fast, reliable, smart and friendly. Their names are
Ruto, Zack and Sammy.

I am good at Maths, at making jokes, sketching portraits, playing my favourite sports, dancing and
organising things. I am bad at writing literature essays and … I guess, Biology and Chemistry… I dind’t
like these subjects in school.

I am happy when I have free time to read and when I can travel with my friends. Every weekend we try to
go on a small trip and visit new places around Zagreb. Every summer me and my friends go to the seaside
or the mountains and have a great adevnture.
