HOBBIES
To tell you the truth I dont have much free time but if I have I like doing sports. I like
ballgames like football, handball, baseball, and basketball. My favourite game is the handball
because I am good at it. I play handball three times a week.
Doing sports is healthy and it keeps you fit.

HEALTHY LIFE
As for me, I live a healthy life because my mom cooks every day so I dont go to fast food
restaurant very often. Instead of it I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables.
To be healthy I try to do some sports every week. For example I play handball three times a
week.

FUTURE PLANS
In the near future I have to learn a lot to have good exam results and I would like to take a
language exam. Personally after the school leaving exam I would like to continue my studies
at a university in Szeged. I want to be a lawyer because I am interested in studying law and
they can earn a lot of money.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
They have advantages and disadvantages, too.
Flying is expensive but fast.
Travelling by bus is cheaper and you can stop at many places to look around but it takes a lot
of time. Personally I believe the bus is uncomfortable because you cant stretch your legs and
move. The best would be to go by plane.

EATING OUT
To tell you the truth teenagers like going to fast food restaurant because they havent got
much money and they dont like waiting. You can eat pizza, hamburger or hot dog with chips.
These are really unhealthy.
Otherwise adults prefer to go to cosy restaurants. They are more expensive and you have to
wait much for the food you order. You can choose from many meals, you can have a starter,
some soup and some meat for the main course.

BEST MEMORY AT SCHOOL

To be honest I like my school because I think my teachers are darlings and helpful and they
often organize several programs. For example the students day and school leaving ceremony.
My best memory at school is the XY-day because it was a fantastic experience. I wouldnt
change nothing about my school.

FAVOURITE SEASON
To tell you the truth I like summer because I dont like being cold. You can go to the beach
and you can play ball games or you can walk in the nature. In summer the days are longer it
gets dark only in the evening at about 9 o clock. Not to mention the fact that I have many free
times because there is the longest school break in summer. (+Summer holiday!)

ARE YOU LARK OR AN OWL?

As for me I am an owl because I like being up for a long time because in evening you can
watch a lot of interesting films. For example the Prison break and Doctor House etc. But
of course I cant easily get up in the next morning.

SPORT
You know nowadays the people havent got enough free time for the sport but the sport is
very important in the peoples life. You can go to many places. For example you can go to the
sport centre and gym or you can only walk in the nature. There are a lot of sports on the
world. Like football, basketball, handball, running etc. On the other hand there are many
extreme sports. For example: skiing, snowboarding, Jet-ski and Curling. As for me I usually
go to running with my friends in the nature or I play snowball with my family in winter.

MY BEST FRIEND(S)
To be honest every people need a best friend. As for me my best friend is XY!
XY is who with I can talk my problem. As for his appearance he is tall and slim, he has got
brown eyes and short brown hair. He is very helpful, friendly and clever. He always helps me
if I need. We usually go to the cinema or go running and go to the Csabacentre and play
computer games.

PREPARE FOR HOLIDAY

ABROAD
To tell you the truth it isnt difficult to pack for a holiday abroad. It depends where to go. If
you go o a summer holiday, you have to pack some shorts, some T-shirts, slippers, sunglasses,
sun lotion, towels, swimming-suit and a warm pullover in case of bad weather.
If you go on a winter holiday it is more difficult to pack than in summer because we have to
pack more clothes. For example sweater, cap, gloves, scarf, trousers, coat.

SPEAK FOREIGN LANGUAGE

You know nowadays it is very important because if you can speak English you can go abroad
and you can take a language exam or you can find a job easier. As for me I will take a
language exam in April because I can be admitted to university easier. You can learn more
about their culture, you can watch a film in English, you can read a book in English and you
can speak foreigners.

MY HOMETOWN
XY is a medium sized town in the south-east par of Hungary. At about 40.000 people live
here. I think it is a little bit boring for teenagers because there are few places to go. The worst
thing is there is no cinema.
Otherwise it is a nice town. If you come here you must visit XYZ. It is a spa that you can visit
in summer or in winter.
There are indoor and outdoor pools, you can swim, use the Jacuzzi, sauna and have a
massage.

PARTY
I think the best would be to organize a party in our garden for example a barbeque party. We
can grill some meat and vegetable, prepare some salad and you can bake a cake.
I would like to invite my closest friends they are 10 altogether. In the garden we can have fun,
listen to music, dance, play cards, play golf and have a chat.
We should serve some alcoholic drink for example some beer and some wine or orange juice.

TECHNOLOGY OF THE 21 ST
CENTURY
To be honest nowadays everything runs by electricity. So we use a lot of electricity. There are
many modern inventions in the world. Fore example Internet, mobile phone, washing
machine, vacuum cleaner, microwave oven, air conditioner and dishwasher. Personally I
believe the internet is the best invention ever. It is very useful and important because you can
find many information you need and you can listen to music and watch several films or
download things. It makes your life easier because you can use it for your studies. As for the
mobile phone you know nowadays everyone has it. It is very important in the modern life
because you can call everyone only one touch and you can send text and emails, take pictures
and video and you can listen to the radio or music.

MY SCHOOL

To tell you the truth my school is very beautiful. It was renovated two years ago. Personally I
attend XY high school. It is a grammar and technical school. It is very famous in my country,
because the XY is a very good school. There are a lot of possibilities in my school. For
example you can take language exam and ECDL exam or you can organize several trips with
your class and you can travel abroad with the school, fore example I Spain, I England or in
the USA. My school isnt boring because ours teachers organize several programs for
example freshmens party, Christmas party, XY day and school leaving ceremony etc. My
favourite subjects are information technology and English. I think it is very important because
if you study English you can speak English and you can travel abroad. As for me I attend
private lessons in English twice a week.

FAVOURITE RELATIVE
To tell you the truth my favourite relative is my sister because she is very clever, beautiful and
friendly but to be honest she is sometimes unendurable. As for her appearance she has got
green eyes and she is tall and slim and she has got long brown hair. You know like mother like
son. To tell you the truth she has a good sense of humor and she is friendly, reliable, and
talkative.

FAVOURITE PLACE AT HOME

As for me my favourite place at home is my room because I spend most of my free time here.
You know there is no place like home. Personally I like my room because there are shelves,
TV, hi-fi, computer, bed, desk, two arm-chairs.

PRACTISE ENGLISH
I think you are not in a difficult situation if you want to improve your English. You know it is
the world language to English is spoken all over the world. You can choose from many things
for example watching films with subtitles to going abroad.

SHOPPING
In my opinion nowadays you can go to do the shopping a lot of places. For example you can
go to the market, a shopping centre, or a non- stop shop. If you want to do shopping quickly
you should go to the shopping centre because you can find everything here that you need and
there are always bargain sales. As for me I like shopping because I usually do the daily
shopping in my family and I go to shopping in hypermarket.

FAMLY TRADITIONS
As for my family we celebrate birthdays, name days, wedding anniversaries and mothers day.
I and my sister buy or make a present for my fathers or mothers birthday. On my birthday
my mother usually prepares a chocolate layer cake with candles on it. We always invite some
relatives and friends. Sometimes I give a little party and invite my classmates. For me
Christmas is the best family festival, when we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and we give
many gifts for each other. At the time a lot of people wish Merry Christmas then Happy New
Year at New Years Eve.

PUBLIC HOLIDAY
You know nowadays a lot of people keep pets because pets are very kind. You can play with
your pet/pets. As for me I have two dogs, Hector and Negro. I love them.
You have responsibilities of you keep a pet for example a dog. You have to take it for a walk
every day, feed it twice a day, play with it, clean its place / house, train it. The most common
pets are: dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and parrots. (Spiders are coming the fashion.)

BAD HABITS
Unfortunately tend to have bad habits.
The most common ones are: smoking a cigarette, drinking, using drugs.
There things are dangerous because you can get addicted to them. If it happens to you ask for
help and go to a specialist. In my family nobody smokes and I have never used any kind of
drugs. Unfortunately it is a fashion among the teenagers.

ABOUT ME
As for my appearance I have got blue eyes and short brown hair. I am toll and slim. You know
like father like soon. I think I am helpful, clever, kind and friendly and talkative. I have a
good sense of humor. But sometimes Im stubborn. [+HABBITS]

THE WORLD OF FASHION

To tell you the truth fashion isnt important for me because clothes dont make a gentleman.
As for me I like casual clothes. When I go to school on weekdays I wear jeans and T-shirt or
in winter I wear warmer clothes, like pullover, coat, scarf, gloves but if I go somewhere
elegant I wear suit and white shirt with a tie. In my opinion fashion is for women because they
love clothes and being pretty.

WEATHER
The weather changes according to the season. You know there are four season: spring,
summer, autumn and winter. As for me my favourite season is summer because it is school
holiday. [+FAVOURITE SEASON]
At that time it is hot the temperature is 35-40 degree Celsius. You can do many things. For
example you can go on holiday, go to the nearest beach and you can sunbath.

JOB
There are blue collar workers like plumber, joiner, bricklayer and electrician. Their work is
dangerous a bit and very hard they work long hours and earn not too much money.
There are white collar workers like doctors, teachers, lawyers and officials. Their situation
isnt better because they also have to work much but their working conditions are better.

IDEAL JOB
Personally I believe there isnt an ideal job because there are negative aspects of it too. For
example if you like your job it is sure that you dont get enough salary or if you have good
salary you have problems with your colleagues. A job should be challenging, changeable and
well paid. Nowadays the most fashionable jobs are lawyer, banker, engineer, economist and
many professions like stylist, joiner and bricklayer.

NATURAL DISASTERS
To tell you the truth nowadays many natural disasters happen. If you switch on the TV you
always get to know about something bad around the world. They are big storms, earthquakes,
floods, forest fires, droughts. In Hungary floods and droughts are common.
They cause many problems destroy peoples home. The reconstruction costs a lot. These
disasters can be avoided if we dont pollute the world so much.

PUBLIC HOLIDAY
You know we have many Public holidays. For example on March 15 th. We celebrate the
Hungarian revolution and War of Independence of 1848-49. May 1st is the spring holiday.
August 20th is the day of our first king. On October 23 rd we celebrate the declaration of the
Hungarian Republic and the revolution of 1956.

DAILIY ROUTINE
Weekdays:
To tell you the truth I have to get up early on weekdays at about 6 because school starts at
7:25. It is difficult for me to jump out of bed so Im always in hurry not to be late. I start with
washing my face and dressing up then I have sometimes for breakfast I usually eat a sandwich
with cold cuts and cheese. My lessons start at 7:25 am and the last one finishes at 2:00pm. I
usually have 6 lessons a day. Finishing school I go to my grandma and have lunch. I spend my
afternoon doing my homework and preparing for the other days lessons. If I have some free
time after it I meet my friends to have fun. I go to bed at 10 or 11.

Weekend:
At weekend it is not necessary to get up early so I sleep as long as I can. After getting up I
have lunch with my family and we visit relatives together. As for Friday nights, I usually go to
a party or watch a film in the cinema. Every other week I and my sister go to my father
because my parents are divorced.
