“ARC of my CPA Journey”

Self – discovery is one of the hardest processes to go through. Many questions

of “what I want to become” and “ways how to achieve this”, will surely hinder one’s
steps of overcoming it. This moment of endless discoveries could lead you to doubts
and disappointments at some point in your life, for realizing how difficult it is to know the
things you want to pursue. Also, with the existence of different incapacities, sadly, many
of us would just blindly stop the process. Without getting the chance to learn the
priceless satisfaction that one could get in continuing what they’ve started. With this
fact, I am always grateful to see people who might had encountered countless battles
along their way but still yearning for growth and progress.
It just started with a dream, of becoming one of our country’s public accountant.
This beautiful vision really pushed me to actually start my journey in becoming one. As
a young lady who was uncertain about life, I always had the fear of having an unstable
kind of life in the future. Thinking that as early as now, I should have the dream for
myself, that one day, I must become something. To only find out, that, with carrying this
fear, I only let myself get stuck in life, like I’m inside a box who get used to fed up with
stagnant ideas I could get within. By this realization, I get the lesson of “ that in order to
achieve something, you must to enjoy something first”. You must let yourself go with the
process of becoming what you want in time. With the enjoyment you let to feel for
yourself, you can actually envision amazing ideas inside of you, that can guide you
along the processes of discovery, growth and improvement.
Getting the career of your own is a lifetime entitlement for many, it served as a
reward which one could obtain from the hardships and risks they’d took. But for me, as
an aspiring one, who’s still in the process of discovering and experimenting, this
priceless goal must become the reflection of mixed efforts and fun exerted. The journey
you were going to create must not only highlight series of downfall moments you’ve got
to experienced but certainly the times you stand and persist.
The Certified Public Accountant title is both a dream and a plan for me. I might
had spent sleepless nights in analyzing tons of concepts and principles of accounting
but still get to discover things that I eventually loved in doing so. The first step would
always be the hardest part, but I will be forever glad that I had the courage to start and
visualize things. We may have different stories of our journey but will always have the
same goal. Difficulties will surely come along our way, but opportunities also do. For
now, my heart is filled with excitement, unsure but with a certain end.
