The EHR system I chose is EPIC Systems because they have partnerships with many

recognizable and big health care systems like UCSF, UCLA, Johns Hopkins, University of

Washington, and Mayo. EPIC is private, have great customer service as they are quick

responders, and don’t have to market as much as their competition thanks to their qualities

that ,make them very favorable. A great thing about them is that they like to high college

graduates that are freshly out of college which isn’t too common. Many people use EPIC systems

like it because can be tailored to everyones practical needs, it’s easily integrated with other

management systems, they are large as well as well known, etc. Some of the disadvantages are

that they are known to be costly, it can take up to 5 years become operational after beginning the

use of EPIC’s EHR, it has been known to crash at an unexpected times but it's been several years

since their last reported cases.
