ANNEX A:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AS EXCERPTED FROM AS GIVEN TO AND ACCEPTED BY CONTRACTOR
Work involves entering transaction data – date, name or description, amount, code – from PDF scanned
digital documents to Excel rows and columns and then sorting. Each line of data is from 5 to 10 words
long (including abbreviated dates and dollar amounts, hand written letter code –e.g. H M or O). See
sample below of raw data.

EXISTING PDF SOURCE DATA (EXCERPT ONLY)

Your task would be to create an excel file with all entries above using the following headings from the
raw data: transaction date, posting date, activity description (ignore smaller case numbers below each
description), amount ($) and code. You will also be adding a column heading from A to F as indicated
below. The excel sheet would thus look something like the following (except that it would have full
descriptions, correct date formats, and nearly 50 lines per sheet)

Note that you will be adding the statement date to the first line of each new statement. The idea is for
us to be able to sort the data by any of the columns A to F. Final output required shall include
1) transaction Date for All Years
2) transaction Data with separate sheets for each year
3) several separate sheets sorting data by code, year, and other parameters.

All of the output can be contained in one file with separate sheets or pages. The output can be in either
excel or Google spreadsheets.

This description is subject to the pricing calculations at Annex B, which the Client and Contractor have
hereby agreed. Any change to any parameter, description, limitation, assumption or conclusion in either
Annex A or Annex B regarding the data to be created for Groups A and B shall be approved by the Client
in writing to be valid, in its sole and absolute discretion.

You can use commercially available extraction data if you wish so long as the work is done correctly, you
clean up any errors, proof read carefully, and do everything to assure quality and accuracy.
