Dear Parents,

Hari Om!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when so many of us are very restricted in our
movements, it is even more important for people of all ages and abilities to be as active
as possible. Even a short break from sitting, by doing 30 minutes of physical activity, such
as walking or stretching, will help ease muscle strain, relieve mental tension, improve
blood circulation and muscle activity. Regular physical activity can also help to give the
day a routine and be a way of staying connected with friends.

To rejuvenate the students of Gurukul and to keep them physically fit and mentally strong,
New Horizon Gurukul will be conducting SUMMER CAMP inthe school premises.

1. This is open for all the students of classes I to XI (2020-2021 Session) and the
program is from 12.04.2021 to 15.05.2021, excluding Sundays.

2. There will be two slots the timings are (i) 8:00 am to 9:30 am (ii) 10:00 am to 11:30
am; there will be a break of 30 minutes from 9:30 am to 10.00 am. If a student opts
for any one SPORT or INDOOR activity in the first slot, he/she may opt for any other
indoor activity or sport in the second slot.

3. Students may opt for sports and indoor activity from the list below:

SPORTS: (i) Badminton (ii) Basketball (iii) Foot Ball (iv) Table – Tennis (v) Throw-
ball (vi) Volleyball (vii) Kabaddi

INDOOR ACTIVITIES (i) Dance (ii) Zumba (iii) Yoga (iv) Music

(v) Music-Instrumental (vi) Art & Craft (vii) Pottery

4. Library facility will be available during the summer camp from 08:00 to 11:30 am.

5. Transport facility will be available on selected routes on payment basis. This facility
will be available based on number of students opting for a particular route. List of
common pick up and drop points will be shared soon.

6. Students taking part in sports must wear appropriate clothing and sports shoes.
Students taking part in other activities must wear appropriate colour clothing.
7. Please find attached the Google form to select the activity of your choice and get your
ward registered.

8. Seat availability will be on first come first serve basis.

Refer the table given below for the maximum seat availability for the same. In case of
activities where the number of students enrolled is not viable, the activitymay be clubbed/
cancelled.

There will be no fees for this summer camp.
