Introduction

‘Mo School Abhiyan’, an innovative project, a first-of-its-kind initiatives, launched by the Govt. of

Odisha, on Children’s Day i.e. 14.11.2017, has completed 3 years successfully, is the culmination of

expressions of interest from the individual alumni, and others who are keen to connect and spontaneously

contribute to their Alma Mater i.e. the school they or their relatives attended. The project has also a

broader spectrum to include and encourage alumni association, group of persons, Institutions, Social

impact Organizations, Companies, Foundations, and Philanthropists and others to contribute to the

enhancement of the school eco system. A robust and vibrant school education system holds the key to a

brighter future of any society in general and students in particular. So ‘Alma Mater’ even at the height of

colossal success in life always plays a vital role in students just like a firm shadow.

An active Alumni Association can contribute to various programmes in the institution like-

academic matters, student support as well as mobilization of resources – both financial and non-financial.

But to achieve this, alumni need to be convinced that their hard-earned money will not fall prey to corrupt

practices and will be used wisely for betterment and growth.

Review of Related Literature

idea that colleges of US gets maximum donation from alumni which shows their satisfaction towards their

education at their alma maters .

enhancing the participation of alumni for development of an institution.

society’s wealth and growth, where individuals can improve their own personal efficacy and productivity.

As MO SCHOOL is completely new and first of its own kind, therefore, there is a need of multifaceted

standpoint and reasoning framework of monitoring of this project that can truly contribute to the

improvement and successful implementation of the programme.
