Peter Phelan joined Pacific Cross in October 2009, taking responsibility in growing and
expanding the company’s business in Indonesia. Peter has more than 30 years of experience
in the insurance industry, which includes various management positions in ACE Insurance
in Indonesia, Allianz Group in Germany, and Swiss Re Life & Health in U.K. With high level
of leadership and strong influencing skills, Peter has been a very competent negotiator and
communicator - a manager who people will readily follow. Peter focuses strongly on objectives
and outcomes, is culturally sensitive and has international experience beyond the norm.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (BA(Hons)) in Business Management from University of Strathclyde Business
School, Glasgow, and a Master of Science in International Marketing from Southbank University Business School, London,
