Q: In Gulliver’s Travels (Part I – Chapter III), we have seen that the candidates for
great employments and high favor at court need to entertain his majesty and the
court. The better and more he entertains, the better employment he secures. Relate
this political scenario of Lilliput to the political scenario of your country. Provide
examples and/or evidences. (Word limit 250-300)

Yes in our country we also have seen that the candidates for great
employments and high favor need to entertain PM or high
authorities.
For example Firdous Ashiq Awan. In 2018 Pakistani general
election she lost her seat on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's ticket
obtaining 91,393 votes against Pakistan Muslim League (N)'s
Armaghan subhani who secured 129,041 votes. But she took hard
lines on opposition and she humiliated opposition. So that why
prime minister hire him as a special assistant on information and
broadcasting. However she is MBBS doctor. The position she got t
different from his profession.
Another example, as the entire country, especially Punjab,
grapples with pollution and smog, signifying the importance of
more green areas in and around the big cities, the monster of
private housing schemes continues to devour agricultural land
having orchards. In Multan the mango orchard on an area of
about 12 acres has been cut down because business tycoon Malik
Riaz son-in-law wants to make a housing society on this place.
Pakistan has exported approximately 125,000 tons of mangos
with a total value of $72 million a year and 30% of these mangoes
come from Multan. Because of this housing society it is huge
impact on Pakistan economy and also pollution of Multan.
similarly a lot more examples are available that those famous
personality or business tycoons who funds the political parties or
speak in the favor of the political leaders before elections .Latter
on they are benefited in every aspect and even their unethical
activities are neglected by the political party whom they benefited
in past.
