To Whom It may Concern,

For the past ten weeks I have had the pleasure of hosting Taylor Dody as my VTFT
(Virginia Teachers for Tomorrow) class intern. I have 22 students in my self-contained 5th grade
inclusion classroom. From day one, Taylor created personal relationships with each of the
students, took the time to get to know their individual personalities and needs, and was eager to
learn in whatever way she could to best meet the needs of the students.

Each day, Taylor’s presence and eagerness to grow as an educator is evident and
radiant. Her teaching style has quickly evolved into something very natural and empowering.
Taylor is positive with praise, but meets it with incredible behavior management and redirection.
Taylor develops original ideas for activities and lesson plans, and can easily adapt plans to
make them her own. Taylor comes early, prepared, and well-planned each day to class. She
tiers her instruction for our very diverse group of learners, including pulling small groups. Taylor
always goes above and beyond for all of her students and holds herself to a high standard.

I greatly look forward to watching the incredible teacher Taylor will become, and know
that any program would be lucky to have her. Taylor comes with my highest recommendation.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions, and I would be happy to discuss the
many strengths of Taylor Dody.

Best,
