Folk Dance – is a form of dance developed by a group of people that reflects the traditional life of the people at
a certain country or region.

The following dance terms and dance steps are basically used in Binislakan, Sakuting, Sua-Ku-Sua, Pangalay
and Tiklos.

Padyak
- to stamp or tap with one foot and the
weight of the body is on the other foot

Arms in Lateral Position Set - a dance formation of two or more couples


- both arms are in one side at shoulder level,
either right or left
