Subject: Invitation for the Interactive Learning Exchange for Children.

Dear Hon. Gomba:

Greetings!

Project DRREAM BEGINS covers the Provincial Local Government of Northern Samar and its
five municipalities which are Catubig, Lope de Vega, Mondragon, Rosario, and San Antonio.
This also covers the municipality of Itogon in Benguet. This is a Child-Centered Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management (CC DRRM) Project of Center for Disaster Preparedness (CDP) in
partnership with UNICEF.

The Project will be conducting an Interactive Learning Exchange for Children with the main
objective of facilitating a National children’s convergence on DRRM. It also aims for the areas to
share experiences on Disaster Risk Reduction-Climate Change Adaptation (DRR-CCA)
activities. It will be conducted in two sessions with an online modality. The tentative schedule for
the first session is on May 21 and 22 and the second session is on June 11 and 12, 2021. The
activity is from 8:00AM to 12:00PM. In this regard, we are inviting children with ages from 13
to 17 who are members of school, religious or community organization and/or its president to
attend the activity.
